30 Days of Thankfulness
Introducing -- 30 days of thankfulness
Thankfulness is not just meant for the month of November, but it seems like a good time to start a practice that we can continue year round. We would love for you to join us as we count out a blessing a day for 30 days and pray over each one. Habits are hard to break, so let’s make this a good habit!
day 1 -- thankful for joy seekers
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4
day 2 -- thankful for strength
Today we are thankful for strength!
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
Just FYI: Starting now if you list 16 things you are thankful for each day, you will have listed almost 1,000 blessings by the new year!
day 3 -- thankful for friends
Today we are thankful for friends!
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Ecclesiastes 4:9
day 4 -- thankful for salt
Today we are thankful for salt!
Salt is good for seasoning but if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other. Matthew 9:50
day 5 -- thankful for nature
Today we are thankful for nature!
In the beginning God created the heavens and earth. Genesis 1:1
day 6 -- thankful for grace
Today we are thankful for GRACE!
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble." James 4:6
day 7 -- thankful for rest
Today we are thankful for REST!
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Genesis 2:2
day 8 -- thankful for motivators
Today we are thankful for MOTIVATORS!
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Hebrews 10:24
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
day 9 -- thankful for the fruit of the spirit
Today we are thankful for THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23
day 10 -- thankful FOR BOOKS
Today we are thankful for THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalms 119:11
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
