Life is better when you give yourself grace and show gratitude daily. This journal will aid in you in that process & motivate you to think about how to see the good and be the good in your daily life.
You have the journal in your hands. Now, what are you supposed to do with it? That's where this quick read comes in handy. We have created a guide to help you use your journal to get the most benefit from it.
This devotional book was inspired from our BELiEVE gratitude journal. In it we share scripture and our thoughts on how to seek joy daily, see the good & be the good!
Do you understand the power of your thoughts? Do you practice daily affirmations? My answer to both of these questions was "no" until about a year ago. When Jennifer and I began our first gratitude journal project, I wanted to include scripture, inspiration and prayer. She wanted to also include "I am" and "I will" statements. I didn't totally understand, but I saw no harm. Fast forward to today, and I not only see no harm, I see all the good! These statements of affirmation when focused on can push away the negative voices in your head or in your presence and replace them with positive thoughts. Those positive thoughts can then lead to positive changes in your life. That is the power of a thought!
Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life. Proverbs 4:23
"Seek Joy Daily" is the second journal we have written. We loved journaling in our "BELiEVE" journal, but we also wanted to share more JOY through additional scriptures & inspiration. We have combined 5 practices to guide you in daily journaling and to help you lead a more grateful life & see the joy around you each day. These 5 areas include: I am grateful for, Lord, hear my prayer, I am, I will and more from my heart. We challenge you to complete this 100 day journey. Our prayer is that this will help you find joy in your everyday.
It can be hard to be a kid. Being told how special they are is something that each child needs to hear daily, multiple times a day. Children need to know that God loves them and created them special and unique. I Am Loved and So Much More is a great way to talk about different positive Biblical affirmations with a child and let them color while you do. It can be gifted to older children who can read to encourage them. Inside there are 16 Biblical affirmations with scripture, a devotion and a coloring page. Extra pages are included for doodles or notes that they might want to create.
I AM, two extremely powerful words! What you put behind them will build you up or tear you down. I want to help build you up! This is designed as a 4 week study. 5 days of the week you will complete 2 pages. Each I AM will include verses, my two cents, a section for you to SPEAK LIFE with journaling, doodling, bullet points, it's your space, and a PRAYER. Then you have 2 days to give grace, reflect and focus on those 5 I AMs. My prayer is that by doing this study, you begin to see all God made you to be. You look at life differently. It's easier to for you to see the good and be the good.
We want to help you put your affirmations into action! You can use these for your personal use. You can cut them and use as notecards to offer encouragement to a friend...or stranger!
